FAQs

Is Mars 3.0 UL certified?

Yes. The Mars 3.0 is UL2849 certified, and their batteries meet UL2271 standards. UL certification ensures each battery charges efficiently and performs safely, giving riders peace of mind.

What is the max load of Mars 3.0? What about the rear rack?

The Mars 3.0 supports up to 440 lbs, including the rider and cargo. The rear rack is rated to carry up to 100 lbs.

Can I convert the Mars 3.0 to Class 3 or Class 1?

Yes. The Mars 3.0 is configured as Class 2 by default, with a throttle and a 20 MPH top speed. To convert it to Class 3, disable the throttle and unlock the top speed to 28 MPH using the display settings or the Heybike App. To convert it to Class 1, simply disable the throttle and keep the top speed at 20 MPH.

Can I ride Mars 3.0 in the rain?

The Mars 3.0 is rated IPX5 water-resistant, meaning it’s safe to ride in light rain. However, we do not recommend riding in heavy downpours or submerging the bike in water.

What's the difference betwwen a toque sensor model like Mars 3.0 and those that use cadence sensor?

The Mars 3.0 uses a torque sensor, which delivers a more natural and responsive ride by matching motor assistance to how hard you're pedaling. It feels like your own power is being amplified. In contrast, cadence sensors activate motor power based on pedaling motion alone, often resulting in more abrupt or less consistent acceleration.

What is a full-suspension ebike?

A full-suspension ebike has both a front suspension fork and a rear suspension system (horst-link design). Compared to hardtail bikes which only have front suspension, full-suspension models provide better comfort, traction, and control—especially on rough or uneven terrain.

Does the Mars 3.0 come with fenders and a rear rack?

Yes. The Mars 3.0 includes both front and rear fenders as well as a rear rack, offering added protection and utility right out of the box.

Where can I find the Mars 3.0 user manual?

A user manual card is included in the product package. Scan the QR code on the card to access our user manual page. You can also download from here Mars 3.0 User Manual >>
