Price Increase Due to Rising Tariffs | Heybike Ebikes

Dear Heybike Family,

We feel deeply sorry to inform you that due to the expiration of Section 301 tariffs on ebikes (June 14th), as announced by the United States Trade Representative (USTR), Heybike will be adjusting our prices. This change will take effect from June 20th, 2024. The increase in import costs has left us with no choice but to implement these price adjustments.

Over the past year, the U.S. government has implemented a series of tariffs on electric bicycles imported from various countries. These tariffs have led to a significant increase in the wholesale cost of ebikes for companies like Heybike. Although we explored every possible revenue to absorb the additional costs, unfortunately, we have reached a point where we can no longer absorb these increased expenses.

The good news is that the price increase will only affect partial Heybike models. We understand that this news may be disappointing, but we want to be transparent about the factors driving this change.

Please rest assured that our commitment to providing high-quality and affordable electric bikes remains steadfast. We continue to work diligently to offer the best ebikes to our customers, and we are exploring alternative sourcing options to mitigate the impact of these tariffs in the future.
