Love the Fender set and Rack for the Heybike Brawn. I think itβs a no brainer to purchase these along with the bike just in case you might ever want the option.
Pros: The Fenders and Rack are wonderful additions to the Bicycle.
1. The rack allows you to take it to the store and carry gear for bikepacking and hunting as well. 2. The fenders keep you worry free (when it comes to getting yourself dirty) in wet road and off road conditions.
3. I like that they are made from plastic so the cannot dent or scratch easily.
Cons:
1. The bike does look cooler without them. (A Small sacrifice to upgrade itβs functionality game.)
2.Also, These are an additional 150$ cost on top of the bike purchase. Note: (During flash sales they ARE included periodically on Heybike website.
3. Though the bike came with the best assembly instructions Iβve ever seen, the rack and fenders did not include any instructions for assembly. This made it super difficult to discern which screws were for where given they were all the same just different lengths.
Overall: In my opinion they are a must have.
