HEYBIKE RANGER S

I have really enjoyed using my Heybike. It is very different than any standard bike I have ever Riden. For one it is much heavier however that is not a negative as the bike's motor compensates for having to ride and pedal the bike. Putting it together was relatively easy out of the box. A QR code with video with step by step instructions but that said it was still pretty easy to assemble out of the box with approximately 6-10 parts to put together and you are ready to go.

The 1450W motor is very powerful so you need to read the instructions on how to set up the power settings (1-5) and the gear shifter (1-7). Charging the battery is quick and easy. Its just plug and play. On flat surfaces the bike accelerates from 0-28 mph) in a flash (in #5 power setting) so get ready to move fast if you don't set the power correctly. In reality it is actually fun to play with the settings depending on what kind of surface your on and whether you riding on a flat surface or incline. If you are riding up a hill that is more than 20-30% inclined you will need to downshift the gears and use power setting of 3-5) otherwise you will feel to bike decelerate quickly causing the bike to slow down and increase your pedal difficulty. The seat is comfortable and adjustable for all heights. Same with the handle bars. The built in rear rack is nice to attach bags, etc with a bungy cord however the optional baskets (for front and rear) are very practical accessories you may want to consider. I got both as part of a sales package they offered in June. I am only using the rear basket as it is offers practical utility in carrying all kinds of items you want to bring along or to carry items from s trip to the grocery store or Grandma's house. The standard front headlight and rear stop lights along with turn signals are all very effective features, making the bike safer to drive anywhere. The head light was much brighter than I thought it would be, lighting up the road for 20-30 yrds in front of you, making even the darkest areas bright and easy to visualize. The bikes (front shock absobers) and oversized (FAT) tires offer a comfortable ride on most terrain. FInally, the bikes electronic controls are easy to use and track how much battery life you have, a standard odometer which tracks, time, distance, speed and offers a companion APP which syncs with your phone once set up. I forgot to talk about the bikes ability to be transported via your car, truck or SUV. It fits most plug and play trailer hitch systems, however if you want to put in your SUV or large trunk of a car or truck pickup the bikes can be folded in 1/2 with the quick release system and quickly opened up when you get where your going. SO far I have no negative things to say about this bike. If you want a great E-Bike to get around town fast, that is comfortable and offers the ability to carry items in either a custom steel rack system and or side bags (which I forgot to tell you) the Hey Bike Ranger S is an excellent choice.

Great versatile e-bikes!

We are currently in Salida, Colorado on vacation. The mountains and mountain rivers are just beautiful! Our Heybike’s have been fantastic for us! We can ride beside the rushing rivers and the bikes easily handle the varied terrain. The saddle bags are great for carrying items when riding to Salida, which is over 3 miles from our campsite. Definitely a great purchase for us!

So much fun!!!

We bought the Combo in red and blue, and are totally loving the riding! We take them everywhere when we travel, including camping in the mountains and to a rented beach house. They charge quickly, and take us anywhere we've tried, handling the hills with ease. We've recommended them to several friends and family and they've loved the ride as well,
