Before You Begin

- Disconnect the charger.
- Park the bike on a flat, stable surface.
- Keep your fingers away from the frame hinge.
- Support the battery when removing or reinstalling it.
- Keep the battery key and NFC cards in a secure place.
Do not force the key, folding mechanism, or battery. If something does not move smoothly, stop and check the alignment before continuing.
Part 1: Unlock the Mars 3.0 Battery
Step 1: Insert the Battery Key
Insert the battery key fully into the battery lock.
Make sure the key is completely inserted before attempting to turn it.

Step 2: Press and Turn the Key
Press the key inward while turning it to the left.
Continue until the battery release button retracts into the frame. This indicates that the battery lock has been released.

Do not force the key. If it does not turn easily, check that it is fully inserted and pressed inward.
Part 2: Open the Frame and Remove the Battery
Step 1: Release the Folding Handle
Push the locking clasp forward with your thumb while pulling the folding handle outward.
These two actions should be performed at the same time.
Step 2: Fold the Frame
Carefully fold the frame inward toward the center of the bike until it is fully folded.
Keep your fingers away from the hinge while folding the frame.
Step 3: Remove the Key
Once the frame is fully folded and the battery lock has been released, remove the battery key.
Step 4: Slide Out the Battery
Hold the battery carrying handle and support the battery with your other hand.
Slide the battery straight forward, keeping it parallel to the frame, until it is completely removed.
Do not lift, twist, or pull the battery sideways.
Part 3: Reinstall and Lock the Battery
Before reinstalling the battery, check that the battery compartment and guide rails are clear of dirt or other objects.
Step 1: Align the Battery
Align the groove on the bottom of the battery with the guide inside the frame.
Correct alignment allows the battery to slide into the frame smoothly.
Step 2: Insert the Battery
Gently slide the battery straight into the frame until it is fully seated.
Do not force the battery. If it does not slide in smoothly, remove it and check the alignment again.
Step 3: Lock the Battery
Insert the key and turn it back to the locked position.
Remove the key after confirming that the battery is securely locked.
Step 4: Secure the Folding Mechanism
Unfold the frame and return it to the riding position.
Close the folding handle completely and confirm that the locking clasp is fully engaged.
Before riding, gently check that the battery does not move and that the folding mechanism is securely closed.
